Overview and Responsibilities
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Field Operations Team Lead Specialist to join the Rotech team. In this position you will be responsible for traveling to locations and focusing on company key initiatives, including but not limited to: the successful transition of asset purchase patients, assisting with an increase in orders, training of new hires, reduction in held item and increase in oxygen and CPAP Billing percentages. Position works directly with the Field Operations Manager and Director of Executive Projects to ensure that locations are complying with all company policies and procedures and helps to identify opportunities for improvement in daily operations of the location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the reduction of held item and the increase in O2 & CPAP Billing % for specifically assigned location(s)
- Completes other projects and duties that may be assigned
- Identifies all issues and concerns related to location operations, seeking guidance from the Field Operations Manager when appropriate
- Monitors other key metrics as communicated by the Field Operations Manager and develops strategies to combat negative trends
- Obtains all necessary paperwork to transition new patients received as a result of asset purchase strategies, ensuring that they qualify for the equipment prior to swap out
- Oversees new hire and continuing education training for all location personnel
- Reports to the Field Operations Manager the status of all field assignments
- Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency at the location level
- Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Employment is contingent on

- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or related field is desired
- Experience in medical field and administrative record management
- Experience in Rotech field operations preferred
- Experience with Rotech systems, including eIntake and to a lesser degree IMBS
- One year directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly-related experience in Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics Orthotics & Supplies (DMEPOS), billing and collections and training
- Strong customer service background
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with location employees to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
- Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
- Interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Knowledge of medical billing and collections practices
- Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Work independently and as part of a team

- Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork; utilize computer for extensive hours
